Waterloo Honda has been around for over 40 years specializing in new and pre-owned vehicle sales, vehicle maintenance, and automotive parts.
Since March of 2020, we truly realized how important our local community is and the significance of giving back. With that in mind, we have created our "Know Your Neighbour" campaign which features local Waterloo Region businesses.
Our Know Your Neighbour campaign began in April when we first met with Lou Gassola, owner of Sweet Lou's Cookies. In a matter of minutes, our box of cookies was empty and enjoyed by the entire Waterloo Honda sales team - if you haven't tried their fun and unique cookie creations yet, it's a must!We then visited the boardwalk where we picked up a Dutchie's Fresh Market gift card for a Waterloo Honda team member's retirement - he regularly talked about Dutchie's fantastic deals so this gift just made complete sense!Next on the neighborhood visit list were our friends at Fat Sparrow Group where we paid a visit to their Jacob's Grill location - can we just say... "delicious?" You might recognize some of their restaurants including Stone Crock and Taco Farm, but they also have their bakery and meats and cheese shops as well as an online marketplace! For National Dog Rescue Day on May 20th, we decided to pay the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society a visit where our marketing team was able to meet one of their sweet rescue dogs, Zara. For fun, we randomly decided to pie one of our Waterloo Honda Sales team members in the face using a pie from a locally-owned shop called Sweet and Savoury Pies located in uptown. These pies looked and smelled almost too good to eat, so we pied our staff in the face with them instead!Supporting each other is so crucial, not only during these unknown times but anytime. At Waterloo Honda, supporting our family means everything, and that includes our community. Stay tuned for more fun adventures and when you're out shopping - be sure to choose local!
